A true symbiosis between two island musicians, the meeting of Omar Sosa’s piano and Yilian Cañizares’ violin! Guided by a quest for universalism, she sings in Spanish, Yoruba and sometimes French, while playing the violin virtuosically, and the icing on the cake is that she dances beautifully… Omar Sosa, a talented Cuban pianist, devotes all his energy and charisma to bringing cross-fertilization to the fore. Jazz and Caribbean-African influences are brought to the fore by his boundless creativity and productivity.

The two artists pay tribute to their roots and traditions with a project dedicated to water. Omar Sosa & Yilian Cañizares, with percussionist Gustavo Ovalles at their side, join forces to deliver a universal message.
